Wreath Laying Ceremony in Mumbai

5th April was the time to celebrate and to remember the contribution of those who sacrificed their lives during the course of this noble profession.
A wreath laying ceremony was held on 5th April 2008 at Indian Sailor’s Home, Masjid Bunder, Mumbai on 5th April 2008 at 1030 hours in the morning. Sh Johnny Joseph, Chief Sec to Govt of Maharashtra graced the occasion accompanies by dignitaries from the shipping community of Mumbai.
 
Grand Finale : Awards Ceremony to Wind Off The Gala Event
National Maritime Day was celebrated with Gusto at a Gala Event on 5th April 2008 at YB Chavan Centre Auditorium in Mumbai. Events saw Distribution of Awards and Release of National Maritime Week 2008 Souvenir.
Chief Guest at the function was Sh Anwar Ul Hoda, Retd. Memebr, Planning Commission and the function was presided by Sh. APVN Sharma, Secretary, Shipping.
